Porche Robinson is an award-winning actress, award-winning film producer, and casting director. She is also the owner of Independent Dreams Casting which is a full service casting agency that provides casting services for film, web series, print, commercial, runway, and fashion clients. She started her casting agency 2 years ago. Since then she has added several credits to her resume including the internationally award winning film, Lions and Wolves as well as The HWIC Filmworks show, Wine & Gossip. She most recently casted models for a high end fashion shoot for the new luxury men’s XL fashion line, Hannah Emmanuel. Porche started her career in entertainment as an actress for both stage and film. She was inspired to start her agency because as a multi-racial woman, she found that she didn’t always match the criteria that casting agents and directors were looking for. She did however have a knack and a passion for referring other actors and actresses for roles that they would land. Soon her love of casting expanded into producing. She is currently working on a documentary in partnership with the City of Cleveland about the riots that occurred in the Hough neighborhood in 1966 called the Uprising of 66. Despite the many hats she now wears behind the camera, she still finds time to utilize her passion for acting. She will be starring as Agent Ashleigh Graves in the upcoming series “Xavier Fox” that begins production this fall. Her character and the show is based off of a comic book series of the same name. Besides entertainment, Porche enjoys spending time with her two daughters Kayla who is 12 and Jada who is 9.

In his 20 years as a successful businessman, Dave has built and sold three companies in three very different industries. In the mid-’90s he co-founded a public adjusting firm in Philadelphia, which he grew into a profitable business and sold in just five years. In 2000, he entered the fire restoration industry, establishing a thriving business in New Jersey and selling his stake for a profit in 2007.
In November 2008, he acquired a struggling sports nutrition store in San Diego and, despite the ongoing national financial crisis, revived it through an innovative combination of marketing and branding efforts. In 2012, he sold it for a profit, and in 2013 opened his second fire restoration business, which he still operates today in California.
Dave has experienced first-hand the power of leadership—at every level of an organization—to drive success or invite failure. He also understands the pressures of the commission-based salesperson, having spent eight years working for 100 percent commission in outside sales before he founded his first business.
For anyone in that situation, as is equally true for the C-suite or for the self-employed go-getter, being your own leader is essential. Dave lives out the proven approach he shares with his audiences and followers every day: Leadership through motivation, inspiration, and perspiration.
